A lifelong resident of Knowlton, I have family roots that go back as far as the first settlers to the area. I am also a second-generation CIDI 99.1FM radio host.
As the third of four daughters born to Keith and Janet Mizener, I was raised in a family that believes strongly in giving back to your community - a way of life that my parents modelled every day.
I bring that commitment along with my leadership skills and my heart and soul to the role of President of the Board of Directors. I am passionate about cultivating community and believe that CIDI 99.1 FM plays a vital role in bringing organizations and community members together.
By raising awareness of our community’s needs and by stewarding and leading local projects I hope to inspire others to become involved and to connect people and organizations so that they can share their resources, time and talent for the benefit of all members of the community.

My Dad's Jazz
MONDAYS 20H00 -21H00 | FRIDAYS 19H00 -20H00
Growing up there was always music playing in the Mizener home and often it was jazz music. My dad Keith was passionate about jazz which may have stemmed from the fact that his father had been a member of a jazz band as a young man. When travelling in the car Keith would turn the radio station to WNEW New York, a jazz station and would quiz his four daughters on the name of the artist and the title of every song.
To honour my father and his love for jazz, I have resurrected Keith’s former CIDI radio show Let’s Talk Jazz that he co-hosted with Warren Woodworth “Woody” for five years.
Cash's nod to the famous RCA dog
Nipper & Chipper
"In 1899, Francis Barraud, painted a picture of his brother’s dog, “Nipper”, listening intently to a windup Edison-Bell cylinder phonograph. The trademark was registered by Berliner Gramophone for use in the United States on July 10, 1900. In 1929, “His Master’s Voice” trademark was acquired by the Radio Corporation of America. It was the first appearance of a RCA dog “mascot”." (source: RCA.com)
